BFD desires to delineate potential plantation areas/belt that can be developed as a Greenbelt to reduce the intensity of damage from extreme climate events like cyclones that also matches CRPARP objectives. BFD also deems necessary to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) that will assist decision makers to perform investment planning needed to create this Greenbelt. A huge number of geo-spatial data and information will be collected as well as generated under this project. All these information and the analyzed output of DSS will be incorporated into and visualized by this Web Portal.
